ATTORNEY PROFILE
Before becoming a lawyer, Attorney Taranto was involved in private business, worked for a major national corporation, and later started and managed a small business. Educated in both business as well as the law, he acquired valuable negotiating skills, managed people during crisis situations, and analyzed financial statements and other business documents. Having been through a divorce personally, he understands the emotional pain, trauma, and frustration often associated with the divorce process. His philosophy is to protect his clients at a time when they are most vulnerable.

His effective listening and compassionate style blends well with being extremely approachable. At the same time, he maintains a high level of professionalism in creating an atmosphere conducive to conflict resolution. His patience and negotiating skills have guided both individuals as well as businesses through contentious disputes, providing them with sound legal advice, leading to practical and reasonable results in the disposition of their cases.

When disputes cannot be settled, and they require judicial intervention, Attorney Taranto has the court room experience in the Superior as well as the Probate and Family Courts.

Attorney Taranto is an active member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Family Law and Civil Litigation Sections, as well as the Essex Bar Association. He is also a member of the prestigious Boston Inn of Court which is part of the American Inn of Court system, and a member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Lawyers.

He is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachuetts, as well as in the Federal Courts, United States District Court of Masachusetts.
